Less than one month ago we released version 1.1 of the WP Dispensary plugin, and have been tirelessly working on updates and upgrades for version 1.2

I am happy to announce the release of WP Dispensary version 1.2, with added shortcode capabilities.

This is an update I’ve been excited to release, because it is now making the plugin truly universal in it’s use, no matter what WordPress theme you are using.

There’s been some updates to code and CSS styling, but overall, the main purpose of this release is to get the shortcodes baked right in.

Now, you can use WP Dispensary with any theme and create a Menu page, add in a couple of shortcodes and you’re done!

Example shortcode usage

To display menu items in any post or page on your website, you will add any of the following shortcodes.

Flowers

[wpd-flowers posts="6"]

Concentrates

[wpd-concentrates posts="6"]

Edibles

[wpd-edibles posts="6"]

Pre-Rolls

[wpd-prerolls posts="6"]

Once these are added to your page, it will output the amount of posts you’d like, in rows of three.

Please note: more options to customize shortcode output are being worked into the shortcode for future versions

Bug Fixes

Something that’s gone unnoticed until recently was a bug that caused an error on the Menus page in your WordPress dashboard.

The code has been fixed, and everything should be back to normal.
