Yesterday we released version 1.1 of the WP Dispensary plugin to both the official WordPress repository and Github.
If you haven’t had a chance to update the plugin yet, now would be a good time to take care of that.
One of the items on the development list for this plugin from the moment I released it in November of last year was REST API integration.
As of version 1.1, WP Dispensary now comes fully integrated into the REST API, giving developers the ability to pull data from the custom post types and showcase them with Javascript, on the web or within an app.
Please note, you’ll need to have the WP REST API plugin installed as well, until the API is fully integrated into the WordPress core.
